Inspiring the leaders of the future

To support the Netflix documentary series Our Planet, created in conjunction with WWF, the charity created a set of educational resources developed for primary and secondary schools in the UK to inspire teachers and young people to explore the challenges we face.

I directed a video where we put students in the roles of world leaders and environmental experts to explore their ideas for addressing biodiversity loss and defining the future relationship between humans and nature.

We worked with students and teachers from St Andrew’s School in Woking to style up a summit where they were tasked with coming up with solutions to some of the most pressing environmental issues, presenting them to the group, and negotiating how to secure the funds to make these changes possible.

It was incredibly inspiring to see these bright minds at work, and to demonstrate to teachers how this format can work in their own classrooms to great effect.
